The Legal Officer shall have the following minimum qualifications:
University degree in Law and/or Postgraduate
University degree in Law;Strong understanding
of English/Cyprus Law and/or holder of the Cyprus Bar Qualification
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to work within a team;
Very good written and verbal language skills in Greek and English.

Overview
Features:
- The Legal Officer is responsible for:
- Drafting/reviewing marine legal agreements/documents;
- Assisting the Legal Counsel with the maintenance of the electronic company record and filing system;
- Communicating with the Group General Manager Insurance & Legal, Group General Manager Claims
- & Legal, Management, various law firms, auditors, advisors and other external parties;
- Ensuring that the files of the Legal section are well kept and frequently updated;
- Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System;
- Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;
- Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
- Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement;
- Undertaking special tasks and projects that might be assigned by the Top Management
- The Legal Officer reports is accountable to the Legal Counsel, Group General Manager Insurance & Legal, Group General Manager Insurance & Claims.
